about   projects   contact

Established in 2001, DFLA is one of Ireland’s most innovative and successful landscape architecture firms. We practice an artistic expression of the environmental sciences; exploring themes of chronology, abandonment, embodied cognition, craft, imperfection and ecology, in experimental and built work throughout Ireland and further afield. Our mission is to push the boundaries of landscape architecture by addressing the complex and inter-related array of client, user, economic and environmental requirements on any given site and to deliver external environments which improve the quality of life for those who experience them. The projects on this website have been fully designed and documented by DFLA, either as lead consultant working with our teams of specialists, or as a sub-consultant on other design teams. As lead consultant we manage the specialist input of ecologists, arborists, engineers, architects, environmental consultants, quantity surveyors and others.
